At least everything was ok with the settings for Joomla mailer. I'm using an additional component named mailster as mailing-list-administration. I forgot, that a lot of those lists where configured to use the joomla mailer and so there were too many login / logout processes in a very short time. I've changed all of them to smtp what is even the better setting.
