thank you for your responses. The techjoomla one works beautifully with Joomla 5x it is absolutely perfect. Now browsing on mobile feels like an app.
I have set the cookie lifetime to quite long and now with the above app it provides a much better all round joomla experience![:)]( "Smiley")
